Engineering the Impossible
Impossible Challenges is a club founded on the idea that there is no upper limit to what can be achieved by students at Rice University. We take on a series of nearly impossible engineering challenges, including an attempt to launch a microsatellite into orbit on a budget of around $2000 per kilogram. The goal of the club is to encourage students to reach their full potential and think beyond any preconceived limits of what is possible.
“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali
